Between the weather and a couple of turkey hunts, I haven't fished in a while. I'm thinking about giving it a try this weekend. Are any still spawning? With the weird "spring" we've had, I don't really know what to expect. If this week's weather had been a month ago, I'd have high hopes. But, I suspect most of the fish have moved back off the banks a little? Anybody here caught any this week?
Worst case scenario, I guess I can tie on my smallest jig and catch some bluegill.

Had some in the grass this week, and they are looking to spawn. Different bunch of fish this week from what I caught last week.
Thanks everyone! Glad to hear there are still some out there. Turns out my daughter has a violin recital Sunday, so I'll probably brave the rain and go sometime Saturday.
I caught nine good ones Tuesday and only three tiny ones yesterday. The ones I caught Tuesday were next to the bank. (Millers Ferry)

I caught probably 80 or 90 last Friday with 39 keepers . Some are deep some shallow. The last few trips I have had to do a little bit of everything. Just move around and stay versatile you will do fine. Even if they aren't spawning the cooler temperature has a lot of them staying shallow

Well, I went out this morning. I probably should have known what the day was going to be like when I got almost to the water and realized I hadn't brought my kayak paddle. After going back home to get it and getting a late start, I only caught catfish and a few dinks for the first 3 hours or so. I did finally find one tree in about 17 feet of water and pulled 7 smallish keepers out of it. I probably should have concentrated on catfish. I caught several of those in the 2-4 lb range. So, it was slow going but it was a nice day out watching the turtles and water snakes.
