    When my girls were 2, they wanted to catching dad, not fishing. My solution was to find a small pond with easy access and a ton of small blue gills. Use about a 1/4-1/2" piece of worm on the smallest hook around, put it under a bobber and let them at it. When they get tired of it, quit! They'll want to go again tomorrow, but they just don't get it dad when you want to stay out there the whole time. Enjoy it fellas, they grow up fast!! My oldest gets married next month and the younger will be a Sr in college, dang where did those cute little freckle faced kids go?

    Thanks Glenn. I felt pretty good the other night when I got back to the boat ramp. There was a group of 3 guys taking out that had been crappie fishing and the guy told me he had been crappie fishing for 30 years and this was the worst year he had ever had. He said they'd fished all day and had 12. We had fished that afternoon and we had 14, so I was tickled with that. If I can take another butt whipping on dock shooting, I'll call you this fall. LOL

    Love fishing Guntersville! I hope to get back down that way this fall to hit it up and Weiss for a day or 2. Glad you are getting the hang of it. The dock shooting takes practice but once you got the hang of it then it's Game on!
