I'm with you Ditch I love the 1" Sliders we have a lot of success with them when I actually get away from work long enough to fish!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't feel bad, I spent a week at Ft Bragg, NC followed by three weeks in Afghanistan for work, just got home on the 21st of March.

I was afraid I'd miss the spawn!

I have not tried the 1" sliders but really like the 2" and the Slider double lite wire jig heads rigged weedless they swim through tree tops better than any jig I have tried. What head do you fish the 1" sliders on? I am having trouble finding much of a Slider selection locally. Our Decatur bait shops have went out of business.

I'm using the unpainted, Eagle Claw 1/32oz from Dick Sporting Goods on 4 pound test line. The thin wire hook will usually bend straight even with 4 pound test when I get hung.
