Default Starting to get the hang of it, maybe

I've been trying to catch these Lake Guntersville crappie every spare chance I get. I have sworn off bridges, I just can't handle the noise. I'm not set up to spider rig yet so I've been trying to find fish and catch them one pole at a time. LOL I am far from the caliber of crappie fisherman that most of you guys are, but I'm learning a little, every time I go. I got to spend a few hours relaxing with my son yesterday afternoon. There was more boat traffic than I thought there would be with the wind the way it was, but we did manage to catch 7 good crappie to keep, and my son landed a whopper yellow perch. We caught a few under 10" that we threw back. If I could find crappie as easily as I apparently can find yellow bass, I'd be a force to be reckoned with.

I'm looking forward to spring camp and hope I can learn some tricks and tactics from you spider rig, push, pull, long lining guys. I have trouble keeping one jig not hung up, I can't imagine how I'll come out using 8. LOL
