    Default Water temps

Anyone know the current water temps, for Weiss or Guntersville , and which one of the two has the best water color. Thanks again

We've been in Mud and Cowan Creeks the last two days. Both have been stirred up.
We've fished for three days and I've not caught a crappie yet. Just one bass today on a jig and minnow.

No idea what else to do? Jigs & minnows, slip bobbers, roadrunners, spinnerbaits in various colors?
Lookong at Little River or Yellow Creek in the morning (Friday).
Not sure what depth of water to fish in.

First time on lake, from Ohio.

    Good luck.

Guntersville will always be cleaner than Weiss. Weiss is stained to muddy in many places due to storms and wind water temps last weekend were in high 50s. Cold nights this week have not helped any.

coosariverkeeper.org. has a temperature track that might help a little.
    Look under "Fish Guide" tab.
