Fishing has been real good this week, Fish are moving up shallow, been catching them in 3 to 5 fow. fishing has been good all over the lake, we are having a cold front moving through right now, don't know how it is going to effect the fish.
I am heading to Weiss Friday morning. Will be on the water Friday afternoon or early Saturday morning. We will be in until the next Sunday. Any help would be great. Set up to spider rig. Pull jigs. Or shoot docks. Not looking for coordinates. Just some direction. Have studied the lake on navionics and know so,e spots I want to check out but would love to have a great week away from work.

We are supposed to have a lot of rain wed and thur. May muddy the water really bad. Crappie Masters on Weiss this week so expect a big crowd on the lake and at the ramps. If wind allows I'm going to Guntersville
if they are shallow try the block walls, rocks, with about 5 feet of water using a float, trolling is usually better on the north part of the lake, be very careful on Weiss because it is very shallow in many places !!!! also don't overlook a short trip south to neely henry !! another great crappie lake and its just about 30 miles south on highway 411 .
Trolling is good all over the lake.

If I were going to fish this weekend it would be Newley Henry. Too much traffic over here.
