Ummmmmm..... Had a scare

..... Called the dealership to test drive the 520 ranger with the wind gusting 15 mph to really check out the ride. Eric , one of the owners I dealt with was gone to a tournament. So I got another person and ask him to put it in water for me. And WHAAAAT!!!!!!! He says we sold that 13 ranger this morning........ Oh boy my heart dropped fer a min. So I proceed to tell him they were holding it for me till I could arrange financing Monday. He said. Oh no , we obviously made a mistake and sold it. So I says guess it wasn't meant to be. Five minutes later he calls back, sir we had two 13 rangers and Eric has yours on hold but the other one did sell if you want to go out come on up. Sooooooo. I was pumped again, they had always treated me great and had held to their word again. Off to their dealership I went. It was spit shined when I arrived and had been water tested before I got there ready to go out. The young man who took me out really knew his stuff going over boat throughly. He asked me what I wanted to test and I told him head to roughest part of lake and let's go thru it at 45 mph. But I ask him not to run over that. We headed to the open water at dam and proceeded to run through 1.5 ft rollers easily. The ride was incredible I had him stop at several piers to confirm the height of the boat while shooting docks. And I wanted to get up and down several times to make sure I was comfortable. I was really impressed with total package of the ranger. Hopefully the deal will go down soon. I'm ready to feesh.

Oh had a bonus also. I called Lowe 175 and he was headed to same lake late yesterday. Got sum mo lessons from him till after dark. Really enjoy that young man and got to meet his brother also...... Good scout there.

Wish we could have gotten a early start an had more time Lee. We had 16 keepers not a good day but with only a couple hours that's how.it go's. Next time you coming will have more time an hopefully show you a good day.
