    That one more cast got me in trouble. While my bobber floating around I hear glass shatter. Sure enough someone hit my side mirror. And then they keep going. Hope theirs is worse off. That's why I drive this ole hunker fishing. So no fish and gots to find a mirror. Anyway God is good. I could have been getting in the truck.

    I remember back when I was a teenager, I was parked on Brown's Creek causeway in Guntersville. I was bass fishing off the bank. As I was fishing, I happened to look up and see a car coming down Hwy 69 with a bunch of 2x4's hanging out the window of their side back door. "That's dangerous", I thought. An hour later I went up to my truck to find my side mirror scattered in a thousand pieces down the road.

    The 69 bridge is a no mans land when parking on the high way,I refuse to park on that stretch of road no matter how good the crappie are biting. The last time I was there it looked like a trash dump. Not to mention the cars flying by going 70 to 80 mph.

    Back in the day there was a little more shoulder to park on than there is now.
