Like lowe175 said. I had a Lowe stinger as well and I loved it. It was wide and stable. slabprowlers boat is very stable as well. He is a big man and I'm pushing nearly 250 myself and me and him have no issues with stability. When I bought my Lowe the dealer I used was much cheaper than any dealer I found anywhere. They have since sold to a new owner so I'm not sure on prices now.
I have a 195 TXW and love it. It's more stable than a Triton I sold. However, the most solid and stable boat I've ever been on was a Grizzly, and man, do they have a lot of room.
Thanks everyone for the replies. I have about decided on a Lund.

I bought my Lund from Abernathy Marine in Union City, TN, even though there were multiple dealers hours closer. Kenny was straightfoward and priced out multiple boats for me, beating all other quotes by thousands. He has handled a few minor after sales issues, better than I could've hope too. I know they're along ways away from you, but is worth contacting him for quotes. Abernathy Marine - Located in Union City, TN - Offering Boats, Sales, Service, Parts & Financing
I've always heard good reviews on the lunds. Best of luck
Sam Castle from Ky. is a friend who comes down here and fishes with me some. He bought a Lund boat and I loved it. I call them yankee boats cause only ones you see are from up north. I think Lund custom builds those boats if you want. Sam is a crappie.com member. Does not post much but you might p.m him for info if you want or I will call him and get him to give you a call if you want me too.
I went this route almost 10 years ago and have never regretted it. Now, my 75 yr old arthritic body appreciates it more than ever. I have owned numerous boats over the last few decades. If I still had a bass boat I would no longer be fishing. Even in my Lund I must be extra careful moving around as my knees and hips are bad and I have no fishing partner (except my dog.) I fish less and less in the wintertime now just because of this (and leave Bea at home.) I have had experience with other aluminum Vees and found the Crestliner and Alumacraft brands to be on par with my Lund. Also heard good things about the G3 line but have no experience there.
