Looks like a trap for you , you cut one and the cage will shut behind you!!! You will be looking like the raccoons do that I catch after my garden corn!!! You would be better off scouting for neighbors Bradford pears , they are great ,thick little reefs if you get the smaller 8 to 12 foot pruned round trees usually all you have to do is wait for a big wind storm and there will be plenty of them for the asking as they like to break and split and the neighbors are more than glad to let you take them then.... only draw back is they are good for about 3 years then rot out best bet is bamboo in 5 gal bucket with concrete
