Default Caught a Handful on Wheeler 9/16

I took my kayak out this morning and scratched together a mess. I finally caught a little current flowing out of the creeks. I probably caught them about 50/50 on jigs and minnows. I only had about 12-15 minnows left over from a trip a week or two ago. I ran out right about the time they stopped pulling water - about 10am. Didn't catch much on my jigs after that but I think it was the lack of current. I cleaned 11 (and let one more good fish flop out of the cooler and swim off). Most were just over 10" but a couple were 12-13". I caught every one off the same tree about 6' deep in 12 fow.

Nice mess and it always amazes me when you catch one no bigger than the bait
