    Default Guntersville today

She wasn't cooperating this afternoon. I figured with all the rain, TVA would be pulling lots of water out and they may be but the current was flowing back INTO or up the creeks, not down stream. One little white bass tried to come home with us but we threw it back. I was just convinced that today would be a great day under the bridges but it wasn't at Short creek.

It was a good afternoon, even if we only caught one. I got to spend several hours of quality time with my 15 year old son. It was also nice not to have jet skis, wakeboarder and skiers ripping and running up the lake.

Yes I take every chance to get out with him fishing or hunting. Don't do it nearly enough I guess but buying a boat has been a great investment in him. He loves to fish as much as I did at that age.

I don't know if the quiet was the post Labor Day drop off or the 64 degrees and drizzle from Irma.
