Default Elk River - Sportsman Park

Managed to find some that wanted to bite a few days ago. I bet I caught 30 fish but only had 15 or so that would keep. All in all, a good afternoon of fishing.

Oddly enough, I caught those in 5-7ft of water, which I thought was really shallow for this time of year.
I'm new and still learning how to crappie fish so maybe that's completely normal.

I've caught a few whites, but mostly black crappie.

Nice work! I'd been looking at that area on google maps. Did you try fishing under the bridge at all?
