    Default Guntersville during thanksgiving

The wife and I are from MS and planning our first trip ever to the big G this Thanksgiving week. I'm currently looking at private homes for rent thru VRBO. If that can't be found I will try the state park. Any info about depth/patterns or general areas to fish would be greatly appreciated. My preferred method of fishing is spider rigging and I normally fish Grenada and Ross Barnett so if any of you care to venture over here I will return the favor. Thanks in advance, feeshrman.

Thanks, I absolutely love fishing during the fall, and am looking forward to trying new water.

During that time any bridge should hold crappie. Town Creek definitely

I spider rig South Sauty Creek in the spring and do good but this year we are planning on trying it about the same time you are talking about. Hope it will work out for both of us. I have a phone number for some cabins they rent to fishermen at South Sauty Creek, if you are interested message me and I will get the info to you.

That's a great time of year to be on the Big G!! Like mentioned above, just about all the causeways/bridges will be holding fish, Town Creek by the State Park, S Sauty, N Sauty, and Brown's Creek are all a good call. Once it gets closer you can send a PM and I'll be happy to tell you what I know is going on. Everyone on here is usually on fish then or knows what is going on. Hope you find a good rental.

You will enjoy fishing big G at that time of year. It should fit your type of fishing. I'm going to Louisiana speckled trout fishing that week or I'd come over and fish with you. Bob D and prowler will help you out. They are good people

You will also be a short drive from Neely Henry. You might try it a couple of days to. The docks will be on fire then. I will be hunting but I can point you to some docks to shoot if you interested.
