Default Kayak Trip Report, Moulton New City Lake

I returned to the Moulton New City Lake today. The bite was much slower today compared to Wednesday, but continued to improve as the day progressed. No Crappie and fewer bass, but I brought some red worms and found a few gills and shellcrackers here and there. I only kept larger shellcrackers most of the day, but added a dozen and a half gills just before I left this afternoon.

Nice Job!! You always make it look easy. I had 3 bites on a small plastic worm about the size of a red wiggler today and put nothing in the kayak. I saw a lot of fish but nothing wanted to bite for me. Still a great day to be on the water.
