Had a friend that caught around 100 on Smith on day last week but only had 30 keepers. He was fishing tree tops with a float not sure where. He did say it was the best day he ever had on Smith.

That would be a good day most anywhere. I always catch 3-4 dinks to each keeper there when I fish it so that sounds about right to catch 30 keepers.

It is a very deep and clear infertile lake which is not very conducive to growing a lot of large crappie.

Glenn I was fishing in Clear Creek when I topped 100 last week. Went back yesterday didn't get a bite. With all this rain we've gotten over the last few days ALPCO was pulling water through the the dam and with all that current I couldn't find em any where.

I'm on here just about daily just don't post much. I love to read everyone else's info there's good stuff and good people around here. Mama always told me I can learn more if I talk less and listen more. That's kinda the approach I have on the forum.
