NICE!!!
I fished sportsman's park and sugar creek yesterday afternoon. Very slow, only 1 crappie and a few stripe. Also fished last Sunday afternoon and only caught 3 crappie including my first black nose crappie. Also saw a Osprey dive from abut 60 ft and catch a 12 in fish. He popped up and flew of with it. Hope this area improves soon
. All released for another day.
NICE!!!

Great pics!
Nice! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the post, I hear Sugar Creek can be real good fishing at times. Have a friend that fishes it from a canoe and gives me reports, still need to find time to try it out.
That's an awesome black nose crappie! Congrats and thanks for sharing your report!

Fishing is a privilege...catching is a bonus. Enjoy each precious moment we have to experience our great outdoors!
Elk and the creeks that feed it has been down for a few years. There are a few people that catch fish at times but most people don't do much. Those people that spider rig have thinned out. Anderson creek except for the weekends only has a few people fishing. Our last really good year was about 4 years ago and they were hot, not much since. Don't know why. The big river (tn) has not suffered as bad as elk, people catching on most of the creeks feeding tn river. Any bodies thoughs....if you are catching fish on elk thats great but most are not.
That's right nothing to see here.
Like that black nose, thanks for sharing!!
