We have one headed to our neck of the woods May 5 and 6. Thinking about trying it out. Any pointers?

If it's hot target black crappie. It's easier to keep them alive in the heat.

I used to fish a lot of bass tournaments. Got to be a lot like a job so I quit and started fishing for crappie, bream and other species. Never regretted it

It should be fun. I happen to know there was a lot of discussion on CM coming to the Alabama River this year and felt like we should support the tournament. I have no aspirations about winning but I am sure I will learn something.
