Great report!
Fished Wheeler Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Friday had 24 keepers and probably caught 70 total crappie and several other species, started in flint and ended up in limestone. Saturday fished in the rain at limestone and had to turn in early, buddy I was fishing with rain suit was leaking and he got soaked and cold before the sun came out, but still managed 10 keepers before we left and caught around 30 total. Went back Sunday morning to limestone and had a short trip left at 1030. Caught 14 keepers and 45 total. Water was around 50.9 Friday and by Sunday it had warmed up to almost 54 by the time I had to leave. Caught all fish spider rigging and anything with chartreuse or pink in it would catch em. I stayed in anywhere from 6-3 FOW just going back and forth picking up fish here and there. Overall had a great weekend catching a ton of fish most of them were short but got enough for a good mess. Picture is from Fridays catch, didnt get any pictures from the other days.

Nice report, I fell victim to a faulty rain suit as well. It sucks!

Yea, the temperature wasn't that cold Saturday morning but with the wind blowing and being soaking wet it did get a little chilly. I would have loved to fish the rest of they day. I think we would have done pretty good, but it would have been terrible sitting there soaking wet.

I fish, therefore I am!
Great looking cooler of Crappie, thanks for sharing!
I don't think I've ever caught so many little bitty Crappie before. I toss back two for every fish that will measure, this fall and next spring should be great on Wheeler!
Ditch did you happen to be fishing sunday? Seen several kayaks but wasnt sure if any were you.
Great weekend
Every day is a holiday and every meal is a picnic.
Sounds like you had an excellent weekend! Congratulations on your catch!

Fishing is a privilege...catching is a bonus. Enjoy each precious moment we have to experience our great outdoors!
I was at home working on the honey do list before going out of town for work again.
The warm weather was killing me, but you know if momma isn't happy, no one is happy.
