    Got out this afternoon, same docks as yesterday, same color, same style, ended with 13 keepers and 6 shorts. Water temp avg 55.3 and clear.
    2016 Lowe st 175 merc 60 4 stroke, helix 9 si / helix 9, terrova us2 with link, drift master rod holders . I fish because the voices in my tackle box tell me to, and who am i to argue

    I give em away or turn loose too after I filet about 300 of em!

    I'm in that group that really likes to eat them. We don't keep every crappie we catch.. LOL we don't catch that many. Still haven't logged a limit of nice keepers yet. I have a self-imposed slot. We only keep fish at least 10" and will not keep a fish over three lbs. Haven't had to exercise the upper limit yet..haha.

    You are exercising your right and I respect that. A 2.13 fish would likely end up in my live well and eventually on a plate. When my freezer is full enough to my standards, I release fish like that.

    I release bass even though I like to catch them. They don't appeal to my appetite.
