    Default Vacuum Sealer

I know this isn't really related to this part of the forum, but there's not really a food prep sub forum - so here goes. Any recommendations on a vacuum sealer that is heavy duty enough to seal plenty of fish? I've been using the household FoodSaver one, but wife doesn't like me using on fish and it really doesn't do a good job. I need one I can leave under my fish fillet table outside but it won't be subject to any rain/water.

I have the foodsaver gamesaver but there are things I don't like. It waste to much bag on ever seal, you can control the first seal when making bags but the final seal there is way to much waste. It will get hot and shut down when making a lot of seals quickly. I would look at the cabela's best unit, looks very well built two pumps and they run it on sale often. Foodsaver will work with you they sent me a replacement unit but not much better then the one it replaced. My first foodsave I had was a older unit my parents gave me it was a much better unit with a very strong pump the newer ones are not nearly as good.

    Agruss and Ccollins,

Thanks. That's the information I was looking for. Since we have a Cabelas close by, I'll take a look at them before I purchase one. Our older Foodsaver doesn't seem to want to seal and it usually takes a couple of tries to get it to work. And the newer Foodsaver isn't much better.
