Great trip guys. I'm from ky but moved down here a year and a half ago. If you all make a trip back down, and decided to hit Neely henry, you need to give me a shout, I live on the lake here, and would be happy to hook you guys up.
Thanks buddy, the first few years we come down we never fished Weiss, always put in at Canoe Creek and fished Neely. Only places we fished though was right out from the boat ramp. I've heard beaver creek and a few other of those coves are good. Will definitely give you a shout if we head down that ways. Thanks
Agree with crappiecrazy fireman. Rod floats are the best investment you will ever make. They are not expensive. Have been using for several years. One rod and reel lost in the water more than pays for them. They come in two different sizes. I think they come in a bag of 6 floats. Bass pro shops has them.
Ya, some great fishing here. I have well over 100 trash piles out, also I have several trolling routes, and many docks I have fixed with trash. What part of ky is your buddies from, I think I saw your from in, right. I grew up in Meade co. Ky. Lived in hill view up in Louisville for around 15 years before moving back to Meade co. then down here.
My buddies and I are all from KY. We live in Lancaster about 25 miles south of Lexington. What lake do you normally fish Cowboy?
I fish Neely Henry daily, I can fish from my front porch. Only time I leave here is for a tournament, or to fish with a buddy.
