Congrats man. I been married 30 years and got two grown kids. On Dec. 17 my wife started having stomach pains and vomiting, but I put it off as a virus. 12 hrs later she was in emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix. It was very bad. I have her home and doing much better now but spent 10 days in the hospital including Christmas Day. Kids and I were right by her side , a lot of crying and praying! Just want you to know that the family life including kids is the way to go. I have been amazed at how my kids have been right by my side and we are a much stronger family because of this trial God has brought us thru. I hope y'all will be as happy as we are. Congratulations!!

Same thing happened to my daughter and her boyfriend last year. She's 26, he's 40 and he had made it clear that he DID NOT want kids. My 4th granddaughter (5th grandchild) was born on Thanksgiving Day 2015. A year later he is a changed man. That little girl is his world and he's the proudest Dad you'll ever see. Congrats, this is a very good thing. Just keep loving your girl and the 3 of you will have a wonderful life!!

NOTHING like being a dad, when that lil creature pops out you will feel a love you didn't know you are capable of. Congratulations, it sure can be a time of turbulence in your life, as all the thoughts about the change in your life but it will be so wonderful you can't imagine life without one. Trust me had a couple of surprises with two different ladies telling me this in same day! scared the hell out of me but are such incredible joys of my life now in their late 20's, somehow it has worked out incredibly.
