Nice - great report
Another tough day on the water. Morning, the current was a little fast for my usual docks, had to run to some 8-10 footers with no luck. Evening hit some docks in the 8-12' range caught a lot of shorts and 10 keepers, biggest was 1.6 lb followed by 1.5 lb and 1.3 lb. Changed my jig color from my 1/64 oz feather jig to a 1/64 oz jig I call yellow jacket. Looks like something you wouldn't mess with, looks like a pile of crap, a wad you'd find in the darkest corner of your tackle box, something that a 2 year old could of made. But a sluggish, fat belly, lazy crappie can't stand them. The color will glow in stained water, can see them 18-24" down. On two lb test my 1/64 feather jig covers 8-10 ft in a slow 10-12 count, the yellow jacket 1/64 covers same depth in 14-16. Water temp avg was 50.1, water clear. I have good pics of both jigs on Facebook having hard time getting them to photobucket. I'm working on getting thing figured out on computer so I can start posting pics. Going to try to get up and running soon.
I FISH tank of the Voices in my tackle box tell me to, and they won't shut up until I go. 😉
