Default Kayak Trip Report, Indian Creek

I made a short trip to Indian Creek this morning fishing from 7:00AM till about 11:00AM. I kept half a limit and returned another dozen that would have kept. I also returned many, many short Crappie. Looks like next year should be a good year for Crappie. Best bait was a 1/16oz White Marabou jig fished single pole on isolated laydowns. The water was 52 degrees and very clear with visibility of about four feet.

Great job DB! Fish color is improving greatly. Hope the wind didn't push you around too much. Thanks for sharing.

There was no wind until about 8:30AM or 9:00AM. Once it started though, it was brutal. At least I was somewhat protected in the creek and it was warm, not 30 degrees. Here's a picture with them spread out on the cleaning table.

Nice mess of fish....I hope to have some time to get out after Thanksgiving myself, if I can get the leaves and some work around the house caught up.
