I made a short trip to Indian Creek this morning fishing from 7:00AM till about 11:00AM. I kept half a limit and returned another dozen that would have kept. I also returned many, many short Crappie. Looks like next year should be a good year for Crappie. Best bait was a 1/16oz White Marabou jig fished single pole on isolated laydowns. The water was 52 degrees and very clear with visibility of about four feet.

There was no wind until about 8:30AM or 9:00AM. Once it started though, it was brutal. At least I was somewhat protected in the creek and it was warm, not 30 degrees. Here's a picture with them spread out on the cleaning table.
