Beautiful setup. You and the family look happy. Best investment and teaching your boy about fishing is awesome too! Enjoy that! You worked hard for it.

    Tight Lines!

It was a great "Christening" for the boat LOL. It didn't hurt that I had learned a little about the lake. I know where the main channel is. We were blessed the fish were active too. It got hectic for about 2 hours with multiple bites at the same time. Just listening to my wife's excitement as she hooked was awesome.

Going to Lake Seminole on Monday - hopefully the wind won't be too harsh

I have fished that lake several times but always come up empty handed. I just can't seem to find them.

We found them along the creek channel that runs on the east side of the lake. Most were caught on the end closest to the spillway. We used Bobby Garland baby shad baits with 1/8 ounce jig heads to keep the bait down trolling anywhere from .3-.8 mph. The fish we found were anywhere from 8-12 ft deep in 14-20 FOW.

I've tried there at night mostly. Too much traffic out there during the day. I have managed to find a few at times but not many by going straight across from West beach marina and fishing out from the point where the bank cuts in. It's 30 feet plus deep just off the bank there.

I know where that hole is. It is depicted on the chart in the Outdoor Rec building too. It's about from there and south along the east bank where I caught those fish in the picture
