    Default Rod Holders

Wondering if anyone here has tried or know of someone that has used these rod holders from Grizzly Jig? https://grizzlyjig.com/p-108-bolt-on-rod-holder.aspx

On a budget and wanting to rig my 14' jon boat. Thought about using some square aluminum tubing and some all thread for the T-bars. Any information on these would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have used some similar. They will work, just hard to adjust. I ended up bending the back part back and forth to adjust tip height. This is just a suggestion, put out a request on the main board, Alabama board and the classifieds you might actually find a good used set for about what it would cost to build a setup unless you have a lot of scrap already laying around.

As a former welder/fabricator I make my own pole holders out of 1/2 black iron pipe and use floor flanges as the bases simply cut the pipe on a angle to hold pole tips out of the water and have someone weld a piece of 1/16 x 3 inch flat steel on top x18 inches or so ,drill 5 holes in it and mount 5 pieces of pvc pipe to hold your poles and you are set
