Thread: Orange Beach/Gulf Shores Blue Crab

I am headed down to Orange Beach for a week. I would appreciate some advice about where to put my box crab trap and any regulations that I need to follow including any license.

Any where in the salt or brackish water but I wouldn't leave it unattended on the gulf beach because current or surf may wash it away. Check Ala. Department of Conservation for recreational crab trap regulations. You would be surprised how well you would do with a chicken leg on a hand line and a dip net.
