    Default Swan creek kayak report

I fished Monday morning at swan creek behind old GM plant. Caught several blue gill and a couple crackers. Kept 16 or so turned the rest loose for another day. Caught 1 bass about 3 pounds and several small 12 in ones. The moss has just about took over. Only a small open area left. Best bait was a spinner with a small 1 inch sassy shad from wal-mart. Had a beautiful full moon at day light.

All seems well with the world at that time of day.

Thanks for the report. I wondered if the grass had taken over. My last trip in there was after a rain and the water was 6" higher than normal which made for easy paddling. I imagine it was work paddling out there.

It is hard paddling and pushing getting out to the open water. You have to watch out or the small stick under the matts of moss as they can almost tip you over . still worth the effort.
