can't beat Florida... just about anywhere, especially Central Florida. Plenty to do . sights to see and best of all.......... FISHING, both fresh and salt.
Will be entering snow bird status next year. Doing some research on different states and body of waters to spend the months of January thru the end of April, crappie fishing. Your lake recommendations will narrow my long term lodging search areas. (Close by the lakes). Thanks in advanced.

The Tennessee river system would be another option starting at Pickwick going all the way to Guntersville, those waters and their tributaries hold good catches of anything you would want to fish for
If you deside to roost in North Alabama dont count on getting true snowbird weather either, ,while last winter was good in the fact it never got below 15° the 2 previous winters we went to single digits 2 times.True our snow is limited to usually 1 or 2 day events with small accumualtions but the wind from the north can be brutal out on our lakes expecially in January and early Feb.But all that said the crappie fishing is steady to good during the winters most years with the fall cool down being one of the hot times and the early spring warm ups the other hot time.
