    Default Kayak Trip Report, Main Swan Creek Area


    I fished the main Swan Creek area today, spider rigging several colors. I fished from daylight till about 9AM, zero Crappie. The fish either had lock jaw or I didn't find them and it got hot too quick for me to continue searching. Summer has arrived.

    That appears to be a hard area to fish...very shallow. I was wondering when you would go to spider rigging.

    I believe if I had all day I could have got on a pattern. Today was just too hot, LOL.

    And yes, everyone has days like that chasing Crappie.
