I'm only afraid of 4 kinds of snakes. Big ones, little ones, alive ones and dead ones

I tend to treat snakes the same way I deal with working on electricity. Give it the respect it deserves and don't take any chances. Why I always carry a sharp hatchet in the boat!!! They are bad to follow you in some creeks ive fished. They have learned that boats throw back the little ones and are there to get a free meal. My two cents worth for the day!

Hard to say from the pictures. I can't get them to zoom in. I'm about sure the little one is not a cotton mouth. If you have ever been frog gigging you'll learn very quickly.

Be careful night fishing. They'll climb up in the boat with you. Make sure you watch your motors!

A biologist told me the same thing, he worked for Ark game and fish

Cotton mouths are usually darker also, they'll also have diamond shaped head from the poison bags.

Dad said he was fishing one time and saw a big bull frog, he went to grab it and a snake grabbed it at the same time. He took the frog from the snake , poured a shot of whiskey down the snake and tossed him in the water. He went back to fishing. Few minutes went by and he felt something tapping him on the leg, it was the snake, it brought him another frog. Alabama river snakes
