    Default Pay-To-Fish Ponds

Hello guys and gals, I am trying to find out if there are any tucked away ponds that someone might know of that I can take my kids to that are actually stocked. The local pond I pay $3 to fish all day, well, it's fished out and the old guy don't stock it anymore.

Hard to say specifically without knowing exactly where you're at, but best off hand advice i can give you is to Google Alabama state lakes. There are slot of them within driving distance of most areas and all are well stocked and most offer boast rentals. Delta for example rents boats, has snacks, drinks, and tackle on site for sell, and has 3 small lakes all for one price.

Ask someone with a small private pond. I have a small pond and would love people to take kids bluegill fishing with a bobber and small piece of worm. Most ponds are loaded with them and kids would have a blast! My son and I caught 30 in about 20 minutes. Too bad I’m so far away.

I'm in Calera. I tried Bibb County Lake. Terrible experience! I drove an hour there which was ok - I didn't too much mind the drive.

Well, when I got there, the lady had a big black lab that bites people running around and then a German Shepard that was aggressively barking at me. I was so nervous. I paid the lady $34 rented a boat. I got out there and the wind picked up, I couldn't even fish. Jon Boat was spinning in circles. I got stuck, someone had to push my boat back out, the trolling motor died on me and it was the worst! The lady wouldn't give me a refund and closed the rentals due to a wind advisory. I wasn't even out there 30 minutes.

No thanks - never again will I go there.

    Where is Delta?
