    Default Mobile delta report

Tried Big Chippewa yesterday morning. Water still a little high and pretty muddy. Water temp around 67. Pushed minnows and jigs from 7 till 10 with only 2 perch to show for it and one of those barely measured. Dipped crickets around a few trees and caught one nice bull brim after 30 minutes. Few other boats came and went so I don't think anyone was tearing it up. Headed home around 11:30 after talking to a friend who told me the brim didnt start biting the day before till around 3:00. Figured that wasn't enough fish for a picture. Next week the water should get better I hope.

I went today to 3 different places north of I-65 and came home with 5 nice one's and caught a bunch of little one's. Water still a little high and muddy every where I went. Should be down good by Tuesday, I hope. Have some friends that are getting up a trip to Chipawa this week. I may go with them if they will wait until the water gets t about 4 ft. at Barry.
