    Default boat painting question

Hello I need some help please. I'm painting a 14ft aluminum boat. I stripped most the paint off and wash it with an acid aluminum wash. However in my haste I did not sand the hull before spraying on the self etching primer. Do u all think that's going to come back to haunt? Also should I do anything to the primer like sand it before before adding paint?
Love, what more can I say

I would think if you prepped, stripped and did some sanding before acid aluminum wash you should be ok..the etch primer should bond to good clean aluminum. I would very lightly sand the etch primer in my experience it is very easy to sand through.
