    Default SLOWING DOWN

I just purchased a boat that has a 24 volt trolling motor it's awesome except that 1.5 mph is as slow as I can get it to go .does anyone have an idea how to slow it down to . 8 or so other than a drift sock, bucket, chain ect . One fellow suggested me to buy another prop and cut it down but was wandering if I done that and get it out of balance maybe mess something up!?

Just buy you a bigger boat. If its a minkota, they make different size props I think. Check their website. You found me any fish over there yet?

They used to make a power divider that you wired in with the TM power and would let you step down the power in each speed. I'm not sure if they still make them or not

I Know where I problem is but don't know how to correct it ? their is a switch that shows a turtle which normally means well you know! Slower speeds. Lol but when u flip it to turtle the motor goes wide open on like its on fastest setting ????
