They will hit that at Weiss, I guarantee!
I reading here most lakes are in full swing(spawn) won't be long and they'll be headin to the docks. How many u guys dock shoot? Has it become an obsession with u too? I'm pouring some baits to shoot in 2 weeks on Weiss. I have been watching lake levels it's finally almost a full pull. Do u have a favorite bait u shoot? What head weight do u use. For Weiss I don't need too many colors I have my favorites as long as the tail has chartreuse in it! Lol I love the blues, and purples variations of each, love wild cat or June bug then I have a special blue I use kinda like blue ice works well. I shot this one last night thinking of Weiss.share with me your favorite bait! Oh I almost forgot I use a custom 1/24th head sometime a 1/32 usually 1/32 early after spawn they aren't very aggressive later I love it when they knock a loop in your line! Can u tell I'm excited? Long line trolling forever....till dock shootin comes, LB.

Wow nice looking bait! I haven't done much of it but love it blue ice bg usually or monkey milk I noticed the last time I was over at Weiss I seen several curly tails hanging from under docks is that a norm for over their.i just assumed straight tails would work better?
Both work well! Creatures curly tails bg shad type baits just getting it in the right spot is the key! You get to a place where you can look at a dock and pick where they'll be! One dock I pulled up on I had 18-18 fish not all keepers my partner hollered share the love pulled up where he could hit the sweet spot and he had 5 more til he broke off!

I love fish docks but I like marabou no pushing the bait back on the jig plus the fluffy chenilles fall really slow perfect for docks.
I've tried it with two bnm sharpshooters and they both broke. I barely pulled them back. What pole do u recommend
I use a 5'6 lighting rod with a zebco delta reel. I will use a ul spinning reel comb sometimes. It is far easier with a push button reel for most people.
My favorite is a walley Marshall signature series 7' rod, paired with 6 lb test hi viz. The longer rod didn't take long to get used to! Will shoot a jig way back in the junk too! I bought a walley world Shakespeare micro series for 19.00' Mbps 70 2 L 7' for back up when I break off. It works well too. BnM rods are good but expensive. I got the walley Marshall on sale for 35.00. When your body gets in tune with the shot its like music! When u learn your angles it will skip like a flat rock! I use a tiny drop of super glue on the soft plastics! I hand tie marabou jigs too and they all work great . I did a solid yellow jig trying to match butter belly it wore them out till I lost it in a brush pile

I have 2 sharp shooters rod they seam to be on the limber side u can still shoot about 25' pretty easy after some practice them lil dock demons will flat shoot a jig but I sure don't like the action of that lil plastic reel
