Default Rain for Weiss crappie USA

Looked at the 5 day forcast looks like rain will be a factor. I have two friends practicing for the tournament this week and have struggled for big fish. The fish have really changed, plus fishing pressure . I look for someone to be on a big fish bite. I wanted to spend some time in Centre this weekend but I may not get to.in February. My friends were on a really good big fish bite but now nothing...but 10" fish...that won't get it done. I love this lake and I know what it is capable of. I feel like the fish are on the move and scattered...it doesn't take them long at all to move and move fast. I have a sneaking suspicion they have gone really shallow!maybe not all but those big white crappie will go shallow fast! I plan to take a week at the end of the month just to fish, really working hard on new baits that on my other home lake have proven fish catchers. Can't wait to get back to Weiss also got my mini planer boards and want to get some time on the water . May your rods do some jumpin..stay safe liftbite

Fish have started to move up, saw several big fish that were caught today. Someone will have a big stringer!
