    I think this all depends where you're at too. Boat and bank fishing is totally different as well all know. Myself, I fish off a Pier / murky water for now / live minnows / 6 feet deep water / fish from 9am-4pm because park closes at 5pm - they just aren't there!

    overhead sun pushes the fish toward structure and off the open water. So early and late is better for any type of trolling. But if there is overcast then all bets are off. imho Those are normally the days my wife wont talk to me when I get home. WIN WIN

    yea, cloudy i normally get a steady bite most of the day, but still better first couple hours. once sun is full up with no clouds I change to lighter color jigs and do ok but nothing like early morning with darker jigs
