    Default Guntersville Vacation Help

We are thinking about coming to Guntersville sometime around mid March to early April on vacation. Would this be a good time of year for us to take our first trip here? Is there any areas of the lake that may have dangerous low water during that time? We are also looking for reasonably priced places with water view for the week if anyone has any suggestions.

Thanks for any advice that you can give,
    Paul

Guntersville State Park has cabins and chalets for rent but it's a little pricey.....at least for me. Water depth will not be a problem as the lake fluctuates very little unless we have record rainfall like we did around Christmas. There are also cabins for rent just past Waterfront Grocery but I don't know who handles that unless it is WFG. Good luck.

The fishing depends on the weather we also have lots of shall water .you stay in the Channels you be ok don't get in a hurry on the lake cutting corners could be costly.most of the places to stay on the water will most likely already be booked up. Cause of the green carp fishers.

That would typically be a pretty good time. There are some houses on VRBO to rent, some small and some big. As stated, WFG has the small cabins and Guntersville State Park has larger cabins on the water. There is a Hampton Inn on Spring Creek that is real close to the water and a Wyndam Garden Lake right on the water on Spring Creek as well.

Excellent time of the year for fishing. Weather and cold fronts will dictate how well you do, but good time for sure.

I've always liked the look of this place and it's not booked!

Call Keith at waterfront grocery they have some new cabins with lake view. They are pretty pricey there maybe a discount if your staying a week I ask about a night stay and it was 125.00 night two pricey for me.
