Default CDC friend back in the N AL area

Folks, a longtime friend and former sponsor to CDC is back in the N. AL area. Don't want to drop a name, but many of you would recognize him through the years. He fell on some tough times and has recovered now, putting things back together. Part of his world was crappie fishing and he's trying to get rigged up again, to get back on the water and do some fishing. He asked me if I knew anyone selling some long poles and items to do some long line trolling. (His favorite technique) Told him I'd ask around. He's fishing out of a 14' john boat, and is looking for some rod holders and long poles if anybody is selling old gear as they upgrade or not using it anymore he'd be interested.

Let me know either on the site or PM me and I'll relay information and contact info. Much appreciated all.

Still rigging myself out but I wish him good luck on finding gear and fish.

Thanks Mr Bob for the kind words. I sure have a true friend. I have missed my crappie.com family. Can't wait until we can fish together again. We always had a great time. And caught a lot of slabs.
    Thanks

No need to pay anything, I found my sweet spot in a kayak is with 10 footers.

The 12 has been sitting in the basement for a while.

FYI, I run five 10 foot rods and two 9 foot rods when spider rigging in my kayak. Seven rods, paddling and fish finder/GPS can keep you very busy some days. I PM Bob D for his address, I basically drive within a couple miles of his house when I'm heading to the lake. I'll drop it with him one morning.

I anyone's going to be near Troy I've got 2 or 3 rods I could send your way and a driftmaster spider rig setup I'm taking off my boat in a day or so.
