    Default Central Alabama Crappie Club (new club starting)


    Hey guys just wanted to let everyone know that there will be a new crappie club in central Alabama starting in 2016. I looked for the thread on this and didn't see one so figured I would share. The guys heading it up are going about it the right way and want everyone's opinion on things. There will be a meeting held December 3, 2015, 7:00pm at the Hampton inn 2590 cobbs Ford Rd Prattville Al (across from Bass Pro). This will be a meeting to discuss rules and places we want to fish as a club. Also to answer any questions you might have about anything. So spread the word and join us for the meeting. If your on Facebook join our group--Central Alabama Crappie Club. Thanks and hope to see you there. ( print the flyer off and put them out if you can)

    Good deal wade, I talked to Roger brown at our local pawn shop yesterday and he was telling me about it. I'm real excited but cannot make the meeting in prattville. I'm scheduled to cook crappie for my bible study that night. I'm not on Facebook due to my wife thinking its the devil. Slab will make us a dedicated slot for the club I'm sure to keep the interested members updated that are not on Facebook . I will PM him about it. Thnx lee

    Thanks bama. Just keep spreading the word. Seems to be a lot of interest in it so we should have a good turn out. Im looking forward to fishing against other people, It will will be a learning experience for sure. We needed a club for our area and seems the right guys are heading it up.

    I have no problem making a sub forum for you all, and I will do so likely as soon as tomorrow.

    Like bama s's wife, I'm not real fond of Facebook. But I do understand it's the 600 pound gorilla in the room and needs to be included. But I would highly encourage you to use and promote your crappie.com sub forum, and maybe not so much your Facebook presence. Facebook does not give back to the crappie community, crappie.com does a lot to help where it can. I hope you understand. And I'm not saying not to use Facebook,go for it, and turn them on to crappie.com too. Make sense?
