Oh Boy gives me hope things will pick up here soon.
Fished today from 6:30AM till about 10:30AM at Barron Fork. Caught 25 or 30, keeping a dozen for lunch. Fish were scattered and caught spider rigging 1/16oz Chartreuse Marabou jigs 18 inches deep in 3 feet of water.
I returned several slabs to the water including two 16 inch White Crappie. Good morning.

Every day is a holiday and every meal is a picnic.
Water was low 80's and the bite turned off as the sun got overhead. I'm looking forward to Fall!
Thursday morning water here back up to 85 early. Fished about half an hour for 1 short fish. Didn't have live bait but don't know if it would have made a difference. I think I'll fish the brim next week. My friend in Breaux Bridge said they caught fish out of Handerson last week but thier water just dropped out to fishing level.
