    Default Spawn on Gville

Went bowfishing with my nephew tonight. Guess we saw about every kind of fish up spawning that you could imagine. Shell cracker, bluegill, crappie, and even several bass sitting on beds... Found some shell cracker I am going to try and go back and try tomorrow sometime.

Good report. Too bad I have been stuck at work all weekend.

Caught lot's of gills and shell crackers Friday. The Shells loved the worm's and the gills preferred crickets.

Ended up catching our share as well. Could see a bunch we could never get to bite as well. Think I could have done better this afternoon but only had a few hours during the day to go.

Oh yeah, also saw a tagged bass while bowfishing Friday night on Gville. Any ideas what that fish may have been from? Had a thin, long white tag. Bass was about 3# or so.

I know Auburn had tagged some bass and I believe if you catch one and call it in it's worth between $5-$150 dollars.

A bass was brought in at a tournament at wheeler last week with the same looking tag.

Don't think I could have caught it but I could have shot it pretty easily...
