    Default Guntersville 4/15 - 4/19

We have group coming to the big G from Indiana next week on Wednesday.
Can anyone share some information on water conditions?

Also, is the spawn in full swing and are the crappie on the docks? Any hot jig colors?

    Thanks for any information.w

The weather forcast is giving significant amounts of rain starting tonight until next Saturday. I haven't found any crappie on the docks, but I didn't look too hard. Found fish holding on the channel edges over structure. Monkey Milk has been a reliable color for a long while now so has Butter Belly. I believe the males are shallow with the females staging to move up. I am sure different parts of the lake are seeing different things. The weather has really had them screwed up lately.

fished hard on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Fish were there, but would not bite. Caught a few, but not the usual amount.
This week the call is for 3-4 inches of rain though out the week. Friday is the only day that is being less than 80%. Good Luck, I'll pass till next week.

I second that DW, great place to come catch some slabs. And don't forget to mention Town Creek at state park, we snagged a few from there too, not to mention got to be up close and personal with Mike I. LOL Oh by the way, they are gonna air the G-ville classic on ESPN2 in couple weeks, you should check it out. Check the BM website, its on a Sunday morning. And if your missing a grey sweatshirt, Rodney has it. Enjoyed the week with all the guys !!!

I fished the big G Friday and Saturday with a couple of friends, and we never really got on any quantity of fish, but the ones we did catch were sure nice ones. Never made it up to Sauty, but we caught several in Town Creek and we might have caught one in Short Creek. Wish we could have found a few more.
