    Talking Good Week on Weiss

A few buddies and I come down from Kentucky this past week and managed to get into a few. The water temp went up 10 degrees while we were down this week. The spring movement is on.

Nice catch, it looks like the annual crappie migration is on.

I am glad you found them. They have been on fire this past week.

Wow! That's awesome!. We are heading to Weiss for the first time on March 29th. Any tips or tricks? Did you catch them casting or trolling? Any favored colors or areas?

Can't wait to get there and check it out, hope our luck is as good as your skill! ☺

We trolled the entire time. First 2 days they were stacked in the main river channel, we used 1/16 oz heads Last 3 days they were moving out of the channel into the bays. We then switched to 1/24 and was catching fish in 5-8 ft of water. Magic color for the week for us was Southern Pro hot grub electric chicken. My guess is they'll be stacked in the bays this coming week, good luck.
