Thanks for all the welcomes. Ditch, I fish from boat, but will fish anyway it takes to catch them.

    wartom,

I do petty well in the skinny water from my kayak, often fishing in 24" deep or less. If you ever decided to try a kayak or canoe give me a yell. I mostly fish the back waters and creeks of Lake Wheeler around Huntsville/Redstone Arsenal.

Ditch, yeah I have read your posts for the last year+. Never ceases to amaze me while i'm looking for them in summer in 15+ feet of water, you are killing them in mop water! I always enjoy your posts b/c I grew up fishing the same water. Have thought about kayaking it soon, as many sloughs here are unaccessable to most boats by July. Just have to many toys to justify one more to the missus!

Best wishes wartom, the only way to get out lately is with an ice breaker.

I hope spring gets here soon!
