Thread: 1/24 oz jigheads

I think hook size is more important than head color. If your pulling you lose less fish with a bigger hook. I by my jigs locally at Coosa corner in Leesburg and the 24ths come with a number 4 hook. Ive have found some at trade day with number Twos. The only time I think painted heads help is in dingy water. Gives a little more flash. Some believe paint makes a lot of difference and confidence plays a big role in being successful. My advice is if you feel you need painted heads buy um or paint um.
