    Default Gunnison creek

Any one ever fish the Gunnison creek area in the delta outside Saraland? Water should fall out of that area before it drops a little ways farther up north.

I haven't fished there in the last couple of years but it can be good, caught some in Gunnison but have done best in Bayou Sara. There are a bunch of old wooden barges sunk from what we call the ski basin back to the Saraland public launch. Some of these old barges in deeper water are good and several of the creek bends have deep holes that hold crappie.

Thanks. I did a little recon up Gunnisn creek yesterday. I didn't catch any fish but saw some places that looked good. I'll have to check out Bayou Sara. The water is out off the banks a few miles up the rive where I have been fishing but looked good down there
