I fished a pond in Missouri that was only 2 or 3 acres, but full of 2 pound Black Crappie. The interesting thing was it also had 10 times the number of 1 1/2 to 2 pound Bass that it should have. I can remember catching over a hundred 2 pound Bass in one afternoon with a small spinner. I don't know if it was true, but I always felt the Bass were helping keep the Crappie in check.

Fish floated up, nuthing but 1-3 lbs in there. Probably couple thousand floated up. Crappie and catfish and bream coming tomorrow.

Mannnnn...... Truck rolled in at 10 last night, I was so sleepy I didn't take any pics. Just lovely , Ha Ha. We finished stocking the ponds about 10:30 so we will see what happens.
